In this exercise, let's go step by step instructions on how to create a resume. At the end of the entrance, is the sample resumes available for download.

On a piece of paper, write down all the contact information. This includes your full name, current address, phone number of your home, your number cell phone, and email address. If you are a student and your current address is not your permanent address (ie you are in a bedroom for the semester, but will move back to her parents home early), then also include your permanent address. Low numbers can be twisted their skills. Failure to list your GPA and employers want to know, they ask, but often by then they have been impressed.

For this example, Jane Smith has worked in Corporate Business of 2004-2009 as a Business Manager. He helped to streamline operations, boosted output and employee efficiency, increased revenue in 5%, and training new employees.

Then list all your activities. This includes any organizations that are part of the recreation and for any company that may have been honors while in school.

For this example, Jane Smith was a member of the Honor Society and President Fundraising for her sorority, Alpha Beta Gamma.

Finally, any list of skills that has been separated from their work experience. This may include knowledge computer, speaking a second language, technical skills like welding, or anything useful for a job. This does not include the "good communication" or " team player. "mock types" competencies "are things that an employer expects you to have, and listing them on a resume will not make stand out from the crowd. Other skills will give you an advantage, however.

For this example, Jane Smith has knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and speaks Spanish as a second language.
