Why call this an editorial chair? Or the executive chair, the job of President.?

I'm shopping for a new president and I noticed realize that most of all the different stores to use names similar to their categories chair. President Executive Director President of the computer task chair President Drafting Chair Where do these names? What makes a chair more specific to a particular task. And what is a good chair to work in, sitting at a computer 12 hours a day? (The chairs computer appears to be the bottom line???) The only two that do it for me are the development and the executive? Source Wikipedia gets best answer, wanted to know the history of this marketing / names. Curiosity about what defines an executive against a chair, the chair manger. I guess we'll never know.
